Thanks to you all. It's rare to find an internet community that is not hostile to newcomers.

As for rescuing, I've been in the habit of rescuing hardware (much to the chagrin of my wife) for quite awhile. Unfortunately, a while back we had to move to a smaller place and I was forced to sell my collection.

This is my first foray into rescuing classic macs, in the past I mainly rescued vintage UNIX capable hardware. So I'm into all new territory.
