7.1.2 and 7.1.3 are for specific systems.
So, would the 7.1.2 or 7.1.3 installer let you do a specific install for another system such as a IIci? Assuming it did, when you checked the system would it say that it was 7.1.3?

I was a seed site from 7.5.2 through the end of 9. In spite of the horrible stuff folks were saying about Apple at the time, the engineers were working very hard and were always fixing bugs - Always! They took all reports very seriously no matter how obscure. Unlike the stable rock that is OSX, there were way more to fix with the Classic MacOS. As they completed fixing them, they would "depart" on the next official system release sort of like a train leaving the station. The release notes highlighting all of the fixes were always very interesting to read. The fixes did not necessarily have to be for a specific new model that was coming out, if a bug fix was completed, they would introduce it. That's why if 7.1.3 is available, I would be very interested in using it to build my ultimate IIci System.

I'm assuming that 7.1.2 and 7.1.3 include all of the elements in 7.1.1 Pro.

I'll have to check, I'm pretty certain I have a copy of 7.1.3. Yup, looks like it.
Can you fire it up and see if it allows you to do a custom install for prior hardware such as the IIci?

thanks,

Brian
