MacNosy is actually still sold. I thought it was not so expensive, but it is $225.

However, given that it has been around since either 1984 or 1986, I can't remember which date was on the MacTech article, it might be useful to email the author and tell him what you want it for and see if he has a cheaper, earlier version available. We're not disassembling G3s and G4s here.
