I have some known-good RAM I could try. Good idea. The caps are suspect. There was certainly some goo before I cleaned the board. Everything on the board is very clean, including the sockets; only the ports on the back are bit rusty. I really should order a whole bunch of tantalum caps; I have countless Macs that need to be recapped.
