This machine is 1 of a haul of about 20 macs I got from a guy in cork who spent years 'fiddeling' with macs. When I got there they were all in a mobile home, that was in a hay barn - basically out doors, damp!!!

I got most of them restored and fully operational.

I have 3 mac plus's , and 2 of these SE's to go. But I got burnt out!!! - put them all away for a few months. Most of the machines had developed rust on the metal.

He did not remove any of the batterys, and many had started to leak - amazingly none had caused fatal damage.

I got a box of scsi drives from him as well - sadly most had rusted. But I have floppy drives and a scsi to put into this. Just have to get the time.

I lost a year of my life in 'Mac Liberation' land - im in recovery at the mo! - but will have a go at this one soon - and ill try what you suggest.
