Another really nice benefit of that Apple IIe card is that when printing. You just set the software for ImageWriter II mode, and then it will auto format at the mac side to pipe it to whatever your real printer is...

I remember using a HP Deskjet that way in color from Printshop. Back then that was AMAZING!!! Real saturated color printouts!!!

Reminds me of the old Apple Lasewriter ImageWriter II emulation back then too.
