Bumping my old topic. 
I may pull out my SE/30 to replace my Classic now. I've noticed that some games play alright on the Classic, but they're slooow. For example, I was playing Bards Tale last night and although it worked just fine, there were noticeable delays between clicking on an item and moving it to another person. It also seemed to take an eternity to load the town map. I noticed something similar when I played Wizardry on the Classic, it took about 10 seconds for the screen to come up. But when I tried it on the SE/30 it was almost instantaneous. Since I mostly play RPGs and adventure games, I think the SE/30 is the better choice.
One game I do wonder about it The Fools Errand. I know it has some action puzzles in it and I'm wondering if they'll be too fast on the SE/30. Anyone ever try this? What about Sufflepuck Cafe? I think I tried it out and it seemed to run ok, but I can't recall.
Was a slow down option a common feature in later Mac games? Is there a program that can slow the mac down if you need to (a classic mac version of Slo Mo)?
