Honestly, if all you want to do is play classic B&W Mac games, a Mac 512k, Plus, SE or even a Classic running System 6 will serve you well. You see, a lot of those very early games were tied to the system clock, so they of course run best on a machine slower than the SE/30. I like my SE/30 mainly because I don't use it merely to play games. The greater speed of the SE/30 let's me do many things that earlier compacts either could not do or would be too slow to do.
