My intent was to learn how to spot a card that would function in the SE/30 as a grayscale setup. Sadly, no one would answer me as I had hoped.

It never ceases to amaze me just how much interest there is for video cards that even the most savvy among us know so little about!!

Yep! There's such a huge variety of Mac Video Cards that it's really hard to get a handle on it. IMHO, it's because of all the different interfaces Apple went thru and all the workarounds that mfrs had to come up with to get around Apple's intentional limitations at the mid and lower ends of their product offerings.

Though I expect it's not a lot better on the PC Side of things, especially in their PDS era! )
