ALERT: EXTREMELY CHEAP 9500 ON EBAY Peripherals 10 posts Feb 27, 2010 — Mar 2, 2010
I paid about £7 for mine on ebay, 9500/150, and in better condition then that.

Not too bad considering it is just missing the easy to find blank bezel.

Very meh

$19.95 for a computer of this age? Is this thing rareish or something?

The 6 slot PCI macs are hard to come by (outside of CA it seems anyway).

If I didn't run into a 9500 and 9600 at a local recycler I would not have any. Shipping can get pricey for those heavy large units.

Oh, that's only a 132.

(says the man who broke his 200.)

What usually kills those deals is the shipping charges. $44.00 shipping for a Performa 600 is already more than the computer is worth. The Quadra 650 on that list sold for less with shipping than the shipping charge on the Performa and it's a much better machine.

Remember to always factor in the shipping charge when bidding or else you could end up overpaying by a wide margin. I usually check to see if the same seller has something else that I might have a use for and bid on a bunch of stuff at the same time to spread the shipping out over a number of items. It's especially useful if the seller has a lot of small items like RAM sticks or expansion cards that can fit inside the case of the computer for shipping.
