I have an old Macintosh Classic II computer. Lately, instead of booting normally, it has been flashing a disk icon with a question mark on it.

I need to boot it from a floppy. Unfortunately, I have tried many things, including:

- A homemade 6.0.8 floppy (from here) (interestingly, this worked in getting a happy mac, but after that atttempt, the disk is immediately ejected.

- System 7.0.1 from Apple site (2 install disks) immediately ejected (

- System 7.5 disk repair tools getting a happy mac and ejected (

- Various other systems and downloads off the Web, all of which are ejected.

Please help !!
