Unfortunately, I haven't found anyone online that actually links a disk image floppy with the "patched" SC HD setup utility. I've had to put the two elements together and make my own. It's not that hard to do. Just download the System software version of choice and then download the link for Apple HD SC Setup 7.3.5. You can get both at Apple, Inc.'s
web site. Be aware that Apple's doesn't have the patched version. You'll have to do that yourself using
these instructions.
Before going any further, I am guessing you don't any other Mac that is running System 7.x.x, Mac OS 8.x.x or Mac OS 9.x.x, right? If that's true, then someone (like me) will need to get you hooked up with a copy. **PM me and I can help you out.**
Third,
Okay, after doing further research, your hard drive shouldn't have to worry about having termination enabled. It is an LVD (Low Voltage Differential) standard that adding termination will be like throwing a wrench in the works. And as far as setting the SCSI ID goes, you can try just leaving the jumpers the way they are now or place the jumpers on the 4th pair going away from Pin 1. Please refer to Seagate's Support page regarding setting the ID.
