Here's where I am: I have the IIe running; I can get to the IIe profile page. I disassembled and cleaned the Apple 5.25" drive including the read head an re-assembled it. The LCIII still does not read my only 5.25" diskette. I have insured that the disk is in a slot (there's only one that accepts it). The LC seems to try to read the diskette, but just spins and locks up the IIe. I'm going to see if I have a Mac that will accept the 5.25" drive (I have SE 30 & FDHD - both are intermittent due to bad capacitors, a IIsi, a IIci, IIFX and of course the LCIII. If any of those have a port, I'll see if that Mac can see and read the 5.25" diskette.

My other path will be to see if I can create a 3.5" diskette with a IIe program on it; not sure how to do that yet.
