Apart from that little issue, the machines check out fine. Power supply works and is healthy, humming is audible through earbuds (so the logic board is getting power, for sure). They just don't go any further. It's a shame really, even more-so if I could have connected a DB-15 monitor to the AV card and used it as the primary display (optimistic, but usually never that simple). It would have been nice to boot up Copland on this with the Centris debugging.
I'm not sure i'll end up tracking down a ROM SIMM for these. I have other machines to attend to as well (the iBook needs a new display bezel still) and as it stands, I have to conserve just about every cent I can get, so I won't be having one shipped over any time soon.
