Spotted this on ebay.

Apparently they have a special lubricant for reducing friction in low power floppy drives. Ahhhhh marketing.

And that lubricant should be dried out by now! LOL!

In my opinion those should not be used, i will keep the box only for display purposes.

Same, it's not like floppies are rare.

I bought a bunch of these a couple years back locally, for $5 a box. 

I use the hell out of them, and I never have any problems. They do seem resistant to develop bad sectors. Newer disks develop bad sectors quickly (modern still made disks). These last quite a long time before they do. 

Thats just my personal experience.
