Question of the day
I have a SE with a bad hard disk, 800k floppy, and no keyboard or mouse
I also have a performa 200 with a good hard disk but the SE will not boot from it
can I plug the good disk into a pc SCSI card, boot up read the disk, and access it from a emulator, install os 7 and the SE actually boot from that disk??...
yep

Now that's pretty cool.

Yup, this should also work with SheepShaver on a PC as well. And both methods should also work on a Mac. I have a SCSI PC card which will mount a SCSI disk under OS X, and SheepShaver will mount the DIsk within the emulator, regardless of formatting.
Hmmmmm. That gives me a thought. I wonder if it will mount an MFS formatted SCSI disk under OS 7 within the emulator? It works on my Mac Plus, so assume it will in emulation.
