DiskCopy (version 6.x.x of which should be another free download) is needed to make 'yer actual floppies. You can most easily make them from the "Make Floppy" item in the menu (Utilities?), using un-mounted disk image files. So don't double click the disk image files in order to bring them up onto the desktop; use the menu command instead and then navigate to the disk image to select it in the relevant directory (basically, that just means in the folder that you downloaded from Apple).

There is a manual available somewhere for the DiskCopy utility, but you don't really need it, as once you get it first time, you can't really go too far wrong.
