New idea for PPC Notebook PowerPC 8 posts May 23, 2010 — Jun 3, 2010
Looks really cheap too. Can be found here.

I really like that! I wonder what that board was cut from.

Bet you a nickel it's a Power Macintosh 7200. (Do a Google Image Search for "Power Macintosh 7200 Motherboard". The "PowerPC" text is right under the CPU.)

Works with this "old school" word processor, with built-in Unicode support and unlimited undos! (Search and replace, alas, may still be a little slow.)

Mine will even run AppleWorks!

In the words of Tom Servo after looking at the Flickr photo: "Oh, man. That's disgusting! ..."

(You see, Tom Servo is one of the robots from Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K). But I'm sure you knew that already.)

73s de Phreakout. :rambo:

Alas, I've found that while the manufacturer claims to support unlimited undos, the hardware will typically develop "memory holes" after just a few undos.

As much as I think its a waste of a Mac motherboard (assuming it worked), I have to say...I like it!
