Hmm.... If I made a stand like a Classic front bezel out of a nice piece of light-coloured wood, I could rout out a hole large enough to access the Home button. And a charging/ docking arrangement.

How about a curly maple Classic-iPad-Dock? It'd be the right height for working on text with a keyboard. I never thought I'd say this about the iPad, but it's actually getting tempting.
