I have a crack in my Lombard case. I figure it must have been heat related. It starts on the bottom at the Apple logo and runs for about three inches diagonally towards the front. I put a piece of clear packing tape on it since I wasn't going to experiment with the plastic epoxys. It's worked fine and it's not seen unless you pick it up.
