Macbooks and iMac
I picked up a Mid 2007 2.16ghz white macbook and a 2.0 ghz first gen black macbook. Both work fine, were liquid damaged and recycled and easily cleaned and work fine.
I swapped the logic board from the white into the black so it has white ports and now Core 2 Duo, 2GB RAM.
Also got a 1.8ghz iMac G5 (non-isight) 17" with 2GB ram for my brother.

Wow, what a great score! Sounds like you have enough macs for years to come :approve: !
Just wondering, how much did this set you back, or were they free (from the recyclers)?
Anyway, Nice Score 8-o

Free. Recycled where I work for having damage. One had milk spilled in it and I think the other one actually just had a smashed LCD. I've been slowly building fixing them up so I lost track.
The iMac just had a bad hard drive.

Wow, thats great, I was happy with my $122 1.83 GHZ C2D, do they all work now?
I got the same iMac (with less RAM) from a friend for free. It kept KPing, and he took it to Apple, and they replaced the logic board for $700, and it kept doing it, so they gave him an intel iMac 21", and he gave me the iMac. I replaced the HDD, and now it works GREAT, I guess that was a point of failure for them as well as the motherboard caps.
