Need some suggestions for software!

Hey guys!

I've just finalised my setup Mac-wise pretty much ... I need some suggestions for software.

Power Mac 5500 with a 400MHz G3 upgrade running OS 8.6 - I'd like 8.6 or 8.1-era software on this

(Also, my Colour Classic running 7.1.1 (7 Pro) needs a Recipe Manager, preferably hypercard based!)

Suggestions? I would like -

• schematic capture
  
• audio recording/basic editing
  
• pcb layout
  
• the appropriate version of photoshop (i'm guessing 5.5 would be around right)
  
• some cool hypercard stacks

At some point I'll probably try to write an IRC client or something for the lulz, so help setting up MPW would be lovely too, but that can wait.

NOTE : I'm not asking for copies of software. If people want to give me them, fine - but I'm happy to do procuring myself, I just need to know good software that is period appropriate. (TL;DR please do not banhammer me)
