Two Color classics not working

They where working before I put them away.

They do nothing when trying to start them.They act as if they are dead

Has any one had this problem before.

It may be the battery. They will not boot with a dead battery but they will without it in the logic board. Try taking the battery out and see if they power up.

I tried that.Still nothing.If I turn on the power then pull the logic board out then back in the unit fans come on but nothing else.

I suppose this could be a Logic board gone bad.

You are pressing the power button on the keyboard aren't you? Sorry to ask you, but this has come up more than you can imagine.

I got one of the color classic's working.I did a overnight power soak.Other wise I left them on overnight and tried them in the morning. It worked!!

.They both booted up and working except one started up with no video.

Now what?

Have you tired reseating all of the RAM, ROM & VRAM? Cleaning contacts and such?
