IT WORKS!!!

OK here's the solution:

I don't know if this is important or not it was just a part of the plan, the new HD is now set to addy 1.

I figured the IIfx might be trying to boot from 2 OS, one that I have just installed and the old Performa200 one residing on the Apple 40MB. So I disconnected the Apple HD - IIfx failed to boot, I suspected the scsi load (now lighter by one unit) so I added a scsi termy to the buss and presto! The system boots in 10 sec. that is "wickedly fast" 8-o The IIfx scsi bus seems to want 2 termys.

Still more to do, ethernet and colour SuperMac Spectrum Power video to sort. Thanks for the suggestions. :approve:
