Congrats on the Cube! That's a fair price for a complete system in decent cosmetic condition. Upgrades are pretty easy. 1.5 GB RAM (3 x 512MB PC 133), 120 GB hard disk, or larger with a patch in NVRAM, and so on. G4 CPU upgrades are getting hard to find as are original Airport cards. Mosey over to cubeowner.com and read through the FAQs. There are Cubes there with all sorts of mods and upgrades.
The USB cord on the amplifier tends to pull out and look unkempt, but the case is sonic-welded together. I pried mine open without damage, but there's no guarantee yours would split nicely along the seam as mine did.
