IIci Internal Video with LCD

IIci Internal Video with LCD Hardware 4 posts Sep 3, 2010 — Dec 2, 2010
Hi, this is my first post on MLA. I just bought a IIci, and I need to know: will the onboard video work with a sync on green LCD? It sounds like from reading older posts that most add-on video cards will do this fine, just wondered if anyone had done it with the built-in video from a II series. Thanks!

Are there many sync on green LCD's? Internal video at 640x480 should work on the LCD if it syncs on green. Most Nubus video cards need SOG also if using a CRT.

well if it doesnt you can pretty much XOR the sync signals onto the green channel via external hardware (but I dont recall seeing any SOG LCD screens, but its not like I have personally touched every single lcd ever made)

My IIci's internal video works perfectly with the Philips 170B4 LCD screen in my kitchen, even though the screen won't work with the Nubus video card installed in the machine.
