I have missed out on stuff before because it was just a little more then I wanted to spend, and ended up getting a better deal a little while later from somewhere else.

Collecting is a nice cheap (most of the time) hobby, but if you are low on funds don't blow the little you have on something you don't realy need. The flip side is don't sell for next to nothing what you realy want to keep.
