I've never ran linux on a ppc mac before and I was wondering what would be the best distro for a 500mhz imac with 256-512mb of ram. For the time being it won't be connected to the internet, but if the distro supported or support exist for airport cards that would be great. The main use of this computer will be - sitting in an extra bedroom, light web browsing (email checking, guest updating facebook, etc..) and the ability to play SD xvid/divx content. So, any distros to rec for this system and what video player would serve it best?
