I think I may be on line. I took Uniserver's suggestion and installed Open Transport. It changed my network and tcp icons in control panel. I do not have a Network icon any more - I have a Local Talk icon. It is set for Ethernet. I do not have a MacTCP icon any more. I have a TCP/IP icon. It is also set to Ethernet and DHCP.
I launched Netscape, and entered in the URL of http://www.google.com
It tried to find it, and I think it did, but I received countless java errors which were on top of the screen, so I can't say for sure.
Can someone give me a URL that Netscape 3.0 can connect to? Maybe someone is running a very old web page someplace?
I think I am on line...... But would sure like to find out for sure.
Perhaps someone knows of a web page I can go to that lists web sites that are OS version 7. something friendly?
