I think that was why most people got the Amiga. They were fairly popular so you always knew someone with one and a bunch of games. I still have my A500 and A1200. The latter I bought off a.. uhm.. purveyor of software of dubious origin who was moving to the PC. So I also got a couple of those plastic floppy disk cases full of disks. I was probably more productive then than ever as I didn't have the internet to distract me. Just a bunch of favourite games and a few well-used programs like Protracker. I didn't even have a hard disk, but I did get a second (external) floppy.
On the Amiga-esque side of things, MorphOS now supports the Mac Mini and PM G4's (though anything from the Gigabit Ethernet onwards needs a sound card as the onboard isn't supported yet). I prefer Icaros (which is free) but it's only for Intel.
