I think I'm going to be picking up a 605 after work today, with NIC and a 2GB drive, I'm told.
Nice. The Q605 is my favorite 68040 based machine. Slightly better video and it would be perfect.
260MB* RAM capacity. Fast performance. Tiny size. Priceless.
*With a SIMM doubler, which makes it impossible to close the case. But one can hit 132MB with a nicely fitting 128MB SIMM. I saw some on Ebay for $16 with free shipping the other day.

Good haul. My proxy server is a Q605 with a full '040 running NetBSD (but I stuck it in an LC3 case because I think LCs are cuter).
I couldn't get mine to boot with a SIMM doubler.
It is very cool, though. My Q605 has my Apple IIe card in it.

Congrats! Enjoy your new set of "feets"!
