In another Mac conquest, I noticed that one of the Plus computers (this is an authentic 1986 Plus; the other one is what I believe to be a 128/early 512 upgraded to a Plus; it does not have a serial number, only a generic one...more on that later) has several hairline scratches on the CRT monitor. Overall, the unit is in pretty decent condition. No pry marks, no burn-in, and it's the only compact I have purchased where the analogue board didn't crap out after a couple of hours of use.

My question is- is there a way to remove these scratches? Should I be concerned about it? Or is a display swap necessary?
