How does this affect the viewed image? Since this is monochrome, it shouldn't be nearly as bad as color, where you get rainbow effects (tip for cleaning color screens of any type: wipe diagonally, so any accidental scratches aren't parallel to sub-pixels.

No problems with the image...very bright & crisp. Analogue board is in very good shape, floppy, etc. Cosmetically, the unit is fine, too. It even has a programmer's switch on the side!

It's just these scratches on the screen that turns it away from being a "perfect compact Mac."
