There is nothing special required to get the video output from the Mac, it merely converts to a standard TTL signal and mirrors the MACs output signal. As for what monitor is compatible, those other threads or, other members may be more helpful. but I do not believe either of those two monitors will sync at the compact Macs unique video rate with a TTL signal.
