No it doesn't. Just because other versions absolutely existed along the way doesn't mean they ever left the confines of Apple. Unless you mean "out there" as in a box in some ex-Apple engineer's attic, never to see the light of day again.

As for your other question about the two different versions of Finder 1.0, you are absolutely correct. One is definitely a beta version, or at the very least an earlier version. It also does not support the same Finder features as the "official" 1.0 release either, aside from having different graphics. It's entirely possible Apple revised the software without changing the version number, or intentionally published it as "1.0" to avoid the perception that there was somehow a buggy predecessor to the launch software (since the Finder version was identified to the user, but the System was not - hence the actual System .97 officially called "1.0" as few would be the wiser). Of course considering the software was rushed out the door at the last minute, still full of known bugs, it could easily be a mistake.
