Thats another thing...hell, it could be as simple as a faulty power adapter...but either way, the main reason I bought it is for parts, now that its out of AppleCare. I tend to keep my machines for a long time, so after they go out of warranty I typically like to pick up another one cheap for parts...I like to think of it as being a bit like having an "extended extended warranty"
