"Best" will vary from person to person. Mine is almost there. The finishing touch will be 256 grays on the internal CRT.

"Reliable" doesn't always equal "fastest." I had a 40MHz 040 in mine before, but it wasn't as software-compatible as an 030, so I plunked down the cash for a DiiMO 50MHz 030 and have been very satisfied with reliability. You can see that too in my Flickr collection.

"Quiet" means swapping out that stock fan with a 60mm Silenx. I've spoken about that before in other threads on this site.

The finishing touch of course is deyellowing.
