I jury-rigged an old RC 8.4V 5000Mah battery from my car and got it running!

Currently backing up stuff. It has 4MB RAM (Doubled with Connectix Ram Doubler), an 80MB HDD. The screen contrast slider has an issue. it's like the track is gummy aka it keeps changing the contrast. Anyone know something I can spray in it to clean the track? I imagine it's just a big sliding resister.

The HDD works perfectly, and the system has SuperClock on it, System 7.1 (would it be better to go with 7.0.1? that's the original install.

The floppy works great, and the backlight works perfectly. Bright for the age of the machine.

When I get the power adapter, I will see if I can refurbish the battery. It's Ni-MH so I will see what I can do.

Other than that, the machine works awesomely.
