SE FDHD opening

Hey guys.

I'm finally gonna open my SE FDHD :beige:

Two questions, I've let my Mac unplugged and with power button switched on for almost 3/4 days. Do I need to discharge CRT? xx(

PRAM battery is dead and I'm wondering if it is soldered on the PCB. Is it ?

Well, didn't find a T15*150 screwdriver.

go to a local electro shop, i am sure they know where to get one

always discharge the CRT

pram battery is soldered

cut it of

if you want a pram battery

buy a wired battery holder, solder the wires, + & -

but

you don't need a pram battery to start up a SE FDHD

in old macs, never leave the battery in place

always remove them

no battery = no leaks
