I have a load of DL380 G4 servers at work which I can have if I want them, but MAN are they loud. They are intended to be in a server room for a reason 
Oh, and to install anything on them you must first configure the RAID controller to set up a virtual drive. It's not very difficult, and to get into the config screen you just press a key combination (It will prompt you).
It is not inside the system setup, because the RAID controller has its own BIOS.
You can also download a bootable CD from Compaq's website which has a windows-like GUI for setting everything up. Rack servers are fun, and you might need the experience in the future. All servers are more or less the same when it comes to configuration.
