First time I've seen that particular carrying case too. They usually come in plain black. What gives?

I have the exact same canvas bag for the compact Macs (the only thing I am missing is the red Macintosh label). I think they changed the design sometime in the late 80s when the SE was released. Either way, these old canvas bags are pretty durable (I use mine everyday at school to carry textbooks, etc.), and I like the soft cloth texture used inside. It's unfortunate that Apple doesn't brand their own bags/carrying cases for their current products (although those Incase laptop protectors that everyone has for their MBP are pretty good, too. Their knapsacks are crap, however).
