As it turns out, there's just enough slack in the cable inside the Q700 PSU to allow the connector to be set into the bottomplate of a gutted IIsi PSU. I find the jaunty angle of the Q700 PSU on its overly short leash rather appealing. Elegant it ain't, but it WORKS! [

I'll be using this kluge while I'm testing a IIsi setup that'll be considerably more versatile than the gamba SE/30 setup.
