So I showed up and the computer was in more rough shape that I thought. The boxes were in OK condition, but the glue had completely separated. None of the manuals were there, though at least the video cable for the monitor was there.

The computer itself had obviously been a kid's computer, and also was well used. The IIgs was also a ROM 01, so nothing super special. I managed to talk the seller back down to my original offer of $80, which is pretty fair for him. I'll be lucky to break even on gas and price if I parted it. I bought it anyway cuz I didn't want to leave empty handed after driving 4 hours... traffic in Sacramento is atrocious, and their carpool lane on I-80 is completely, 100% useless. In fact, it was slower than the two right lanes which I ended up merging onto. I was expecting a 2 hour drive, and it turned into 4.

There was one jewel in the lot, though, and that was a M0116 Apple Keyboard still in its box. It, too, was in used condition, but nothing a little elbow grease couldn't fix. While not new, it at least still had some of the documentation, and I can dig up a new coiled ADB cable for it to complete the keyboard.
