My EyeTV is a USB v1.1 model from I think 2002 or 2003. It works great, although you have to have Mac OS X 10.2 or higher for it to run. It supports both PAL and NTSC (built in), component video or S-video with stereo sound. You also can connect it up via TV aerial or various different coaxial cable TV sources. It can support Digital TV here in the U.S., but I would have to buy the digital TV converter box to receive the DTV signals. It does an awesome job recording and editing afterwards. Records medium and high quality A/V.

Does the IREZ Capsure pcmcia card support OS X Tiger? If it does, I could get one, use QuickTime Pro 7.x.x and record directly into QuickTime. No need for any additional software.
