I recently had a g4 quicksilver 2002 die on me. I thought it was the cpu, so I bought a 733 mhz on ebay for 15$. I'm still getting the same issue, and have ordered a new logic board. My question is if that 733mhz is compatible with the 2002. I hadn't realized this possible incompatibility before I bought it.

*I checked and they have the same L2 cache.

I just wanted to insure that my issue isn't still present b/c of an incompatible cpu(though seeing as I bought before I researched I guess it doesn't matter much)
