I wrote the guy and he responded fairly quickly on Thursday. (I explained how I'd heard rumors he was going to give away more stuffs by someone who went to the event on Wednesday.) He confirmed he had a pile of PETs that he was going to get rid of "soon", and he said he added me to a list he was keeping of RSVP-ers he was going to notify when he was ready.

Guess I'll see if said notification comes through. (He seems responsive enough, so I have no reason to doubt.)

He mentioned he had a pile of IBM PS/2 equipment, but he had no idea if anyone would bother to show up for them. I suggested there would probably be *someone* out there crazy enough to want it. ;^)
