Check it out.. retr0bright progress on my SE/30 .. just doing the rear case so far.

That's with just about 2 hours of sunlight in the evening, and then having it under a black light overnight. Not bad at all! Another afternoon should finish it off! Totally excited to have it side-by-side with the front just to see the difference!
For comparison purposes, notice the rectangular gray square on the front... that's the original color as far as I can tell. There was a sticker over that corner!

I'm using the same technique as JDW from these forums, which he outlined in his Flickr photo at:

Basically I'm using corn starch instead of xanthan gum for thickener. It's way easier to find, and really cheap at that.
Very simple process actually! Just takes a bit of time to get everything set up, etc.

New update, after a couple more hours in the sunset:

A bit worried by that streaking but I think that's just because I haven't done a nice FULL afternoon with multiple reapplications (including full cleaning each time). I guess we'll find out very soon whether my case is screwed or not! hehehehe
