My Duo 2300c does this quite regular. I fix it by: A. Unplugging and replugging several times until it (usually) works or B. Pop off the keyboard, disconnect the PRAM for a moment, and then reconnect it; or sometimes boot without it. I eventually plan on buying a new PRAM battery.
