I do not own any other Mac computers. It sounds like my life will be much easier if I bought a Mac laptop and then used it. Of the above laptops you listed, which is the least expensive? I would want one with either a internal CD drive bay, or a external SCSI port so I could plug in my external CD reader/burner into it. Suggestions?
Sounds like a Multi-Media Card Reader (SD, CF, etc.) to USB adapter would be a cool item to pick up also.
I think my CC is OK. I can roll in a SCSI hard drive and it works perfect. So I think it is a formatting issue with the CF card. I left all the defaults as is with the CF card device. I will dig out it's data sheet again and re check it. It seemed that it came optioned for the first internal SCSI chain, and termination. But I will go over that again and see if I can spot anything.
