My brother managed to get internet on his laptop (Windows 7) using a Bluetooth adapter and his 3G enabled cellphone.

What his laptop does, I'm sure my eMac can do better. I plug in the USB adapter, pair it to his phone, dial, and then...! Nothing! I try messing with the settings and can't seem to get this working.

His phone is a Samsung SGH-A77. I can move data and whatnot on his phone from my Mac, but no Internet... Windows 7 preconfigured everything, so there's no looking at the settings to try and mirror it in a Mac happy way.

It's an AT&T phone with unlimited Internet access. I kept the username and password blank since I have no clue what it should be, the GPRS CID String is set to *99# which I heard was a "universal" string, and the modem script is set to Apple External 56k Modem (v.90) which I know is incorrect.

I've searched for the proper script with no luck, and if I have to write one, how in the world would I go about doing that? My programming skills are terrible, and I'm still a newbie with Macs...

I would like to get my eMac on the Internet. It would make life so much easier. So, anyone know anything about how I can get this connected? The eMac is running OS X 10.4.11
